Learn the Dutch language

You are keen to learn Dutch or have just arrived in the Netherlands and want to have a better command of the Dutch language. You can do all this with JAR opleidingen

Courses

Whether you speak no Dutch at all yet, or want to continue studying after your integration course, or wish to improve your level so you can function better at work, you are welcome to join us. JAR opleidingen has a variety of courses:

Basic literacy (for students who had no education in their country of origin);
Integration;
State examination (for students who wish to study further);
Dutch for speakers of other languages.

During the intake, we evaluate your learning level. Based on this, we can draw up a personalised quotation so that you know how long your course in Dutch will last and how much it will cost.

JAR opleidingen holds courses in Alkmaar, Heerhugowaard and Castricum. Daytime and evening classes. The maximum group size is 15 people. You will have lessons on three part-days per week in the morning or afternoon, or for two evenings per week.

Of course, you can also take private lessons!

Integration Course

Are you obliged to take an integration course? If so, you can apply for a loan from the DUO (the state body for the implementation of education in the Netherlands). JAR opleidingen can help you with this. You can then borrow money from the government to pay for your course. If you pass, the debt is acquitted providing you have complied with the rules attached to the DUO loan.

Are you not obliged to take an integration course? In most cases, you can still apply for a loan, but then it has to be repaid within 10 years. If you cannot do this, you will have to pay for the course yourself.
